      <image:title>About</image:title>
<image:caption>I’m Mason Higa, a creative who believes the most important moments are rarely the loudest ones. I’m drawn to moments from the ordinary—the routines, to far away places, and the in-between subtle connections that make up real life. My work is rooted in observation rather than direction. I photograph people and places as they are, in the spaces we exist in, loving the lives they’re already in. These images aren’t about posing or performance; they’re about memory, presence, and preserving what this season of life truly felt like. Alongside my documentary work, I’m a Senior Creative Evangelist for Canon USA, where I create social media content and educate photographers through real-world storytelling. My role bridges technical knowledge and creative intention, with an emphasis on understanding both the camera and the human moments in front of it.</image:caption>
